Welcome to Lothersdale Primary School
This is the time of year when we welcome prospective parents/carers to school, and show off all the wonderful things that we have to offer. Whilst the usual visits during the school day cannot take place, we are able to invite parents/carers to visit the school out of hours.
If you have a child who is due to start school in September 2021, and you have not yet had a chance to tour our school, Mrs Bateman and I will be available to welcome visitors on the following dates:
Tuesday 3rd November 2020
Wednesday 4th November 2020
Tuesday 10th November 2020
Wednesday 11th November 2020
Visits will take place at 4.30pm after all the children have gone home. Visitors will be asked to wear a face mask and to observe social distancing rules whilst in the building. Unfortunately, children will not be allowed on these visits as we have to ensure that nobody touches anything whilst in school; it would be unfair to ask 3-year-olds not to touch the toys and resources in Class 1, but we will ensure that they have plenty of opportunity to visit school before they start next year.
Please note that we are only able to invite four adults into school at each session due to the current government law regarding meeting in groups of 6 or less. We may therefore have to limit visits to one adult per family at a session.
Please email Mrs Ellison in the school office (firstname.lastname@example.org) to book a place on one of the above dates.
If you are unable to attend, please check out the presentation of photographs of Lothersdale Primary School by clicking on the attachment below and the short video clip from Mrs Bateman, the Reception class teacher.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
