Election Assembly

One of our year 4 pupils, Jarvis, put on an assembly on Wednesday 11th December about our government and its parties. Jarvis has been very interested in politics and put together a PowerPoint to share his interest. Firstly, he explained the important words to do with his topic including election, constituency, vote and MPs. Then he moved to explain about the different parties and their policies. He discussed in detail the Conservative, Labour, Green and Liberal Democrat parties and what they proposed in their manifestos about the future. Brexit also came up and all the important elements that the parties have been discussing including the importance of saving our NHS. Jarvis wanted to hold his assembly because on Thursday 12th December the General Election took place.

We thank Jarvis for his assembly and we hope he continues with his interest in politics.
